April & May 2011:
The spring have been a very busy period at IRAS with many new orders and finalizing existing orders.
We were present at SPE(Seafood Processing Europe) in Brussels again this year, and also here we had great succes.
May was also the month where we did Start-up on a brand new control system for Comeau's Seafoods "Sea Life" in Canada.
This system involved controlling 2 existing Grading lines and distribution system, originally supplied by IRAS in 2001.
The heart of the system, a 15" full color touch panel controls the 2 grading systems, which push out batches of fish which are then
weighed and distributed out to 1 of the 17 points of delivery in the factory by. Furthermore the system holds an enire Datalogging system
that allows our customer to get statistical feedback from each grader and each point of exit, showing how much fish have passed through.
To obtain full flexibility, the system can be accessed from any computer at the factory site in 2 ways:
- View-mode, designed for viewing only and is mostly used by the production managers to keep track during operation.
- Full-acces-mode, which grants full control of the systems functions.
The new system can be fully supervised from Denmark aswell.
There are no later entries.
